S&B Filters Cold Air Intake Scoop - AS-1003

The Scoop is an easy install that provides more cool air through the bottom opening on your S&B Cold Air Intake. It lowers your truck EGT's and pressurizes the intake air box with cool air from outside the engine compartment while driving. It is water ingestion tested and designed to expel water and snow. On top of all this the beautiful design makes it look like your truck was designed for it to be there.

Cold air has greater density. The greater the density, the better the performance of your engine. S&B’s Scoops engulfs colder outside air and still protects your engine when it rains.

S&B’s Scoop is so well designed, it looks like it’s standart equipment. Positioned securely underneath the front bumper, the scoop works to consume outside cooler air improving the performance of your engine. As you gain speed, the pressure of the air box increases improving airflow by decreasing the restriction of air traveling through the filter.

Fits like a glove

Typical installs are less than an hour with no drilling required. It’s a large part, so an extra set of hands will help.

Protection from rain

While a few others might have something that looks similar to our scoop, that is where the similarities stop. S&B spent thousands of dollars and countless hours of testing to provide you with a product that will protect your engine when it rains.

Protection from snow

Our unique snow Plug Kit makes preparing for winter a snap. Just remove the lower portion of the scoop and replace it with the Snow Plug and your ready to push through even the tallest drift. Sold separately.
