Competition Race has released modified transmission tuning to meet the high horsepower and torque output of the 6.7 Cummins engine. The CRTRANS2 software was developed to work specifically with the tuning software to yield the best reliability and performance out of your transmission.
One of the major issues with the 68RFE transmission is the shift points on gears 5 & 6. When the shift points come in early, this causes something called "dead pedal" and in some cases a transmission shudder. This transmission software substantially reduces those issues and eliminates any unnecessary damage that may be caused.
