Description   Volant cold air intakes utilize closed air box intake design which allows cooler air flowing into your intake system to provide higher engine efficiency and more power. Installation of a Volant Cool Air Intake system takes not more than 30 minutes for most applications and includes all hardware and instructions for installation. Installing a Volant Cool Air Intake system can provide an extra 10-25 horsepower and 10-30 lb. ft. torque!! Filter Box: Engineered by using a cross-link polyethylene filter box, these filter boxes are individually designed for each vehicle make and model. These filter boxes help insulate and protect the intake filter from drawing hot air from the engine compartment. Cooler air = higher efficiency. Air Duct: Cross-link polyethylene air ducts are sculptured to give the engine a less restrictive air pass to breathe. Larger diameters, unique bends and smooth transitions gives you maximum horsepower and awesome throttle response. Ram Filter: The ram filter is designed to be washable (cleanable) so it can be re-used many times. The filter is made of high grade filter media which increases air passage. Thus, air that once was restricted can now flow more smoothly and efficiently. This increases engine output and power. Air flow throughout the entire system is increased. Aluminum lid: The polished aluminum lid gives the intake system a high-end look and feel to the engine bay.
