Description   Filter Types: Pro 5 Filter This new filtration technology is aptly called Progressive 5 Layer.  5 layers of progressively finer mesh medical grade cotton gauze with micro fibers that attract smaller and smaller particles as air passes through.  These 5 layers of cotton gauze is sandwiched between 2 layers of epoxy coated aluminum wire mesh. Intake: Volant cold air intakes utilize closed air box intake design which allows cooler air flowing into your intake system to provide higher engine efficiency and more power. Unleash the real power of your engine with Volant intakes. The heat produced inside your engine bay is avoided with Volant intakes to insure consistant cooler air flowing into your intake manifold. Installation of a Volant Cool Air Intake system takes not more than 30 minutes for most applications and includes all hardware and instructions for installation. Installing a Volant Cool Air Intake system can provide an extra 10-25 horsepower and 10-30 lb. ft. torque!! Filter Box: Engineered by using a cross-link polyethylene filter box, these filter boxes are individually designed for each vehicle make and model. These filter boxes help insulate and protect the intake filter from drawing hot air from the engine compartment. Cooler air = higher efficiency. Air Duct: The cross-link polyethylene air ducts are designed and engineered to increase air flow and passage for maximum performance. All Volant intake air ducts and filter boxes are larger in size and have specific bends and smooth air flow transition. Aluminum lid: The polished aluminum lid gives the intake system a high-end look and feel to the engine bay.
